Swedish study of 2 million women showed hormonal contraceptives were associated with an increased risk of breast cancer, the more progestin used the greater the risk (desogestrel being the worst).
This is crazy to consider, as I have women coming in who have been on hormonal birth control for 25 years and this study found that just 5 years of use was associated with a near 50% increased risk of breast cancer.
Ladies, if for whatever reason you do not want a child or anymore children then tell her husband to wear a condom, stick to natural family planning or go get snipped. Your children need you.
Hormonal birth control may just be the single greatest risk for breast cancer in women. The Bibles say that husbands are to lay down their life for their wife, to love their wife like Christ loved the church.
