You can’t heal when you’re in fight or flight. You can’t restore when your limbic system is screaming. You can’t thrive when you’re chasing validation, running from your own thoughts, trying to control every situation or trying to prove your worth through constant productivity.
We think we’re battling mold, Lyme, Epstein-Barr, heavy metals — and yes, those things are real. But for most of us, those are just the visible tip of the iceberg.
Beneath it lies a massive weight — unprocessed emotion, suppressed fear, unforgiveness, anxiety, and an addiction to “more.” This is infect the door that was left open for these entities to take hold.
Just in the last month two prominent go getters found themselves in the ICU battling an unknown disease manifesting as immune over activation and limbic symptom pandemonium. Essentially their beings are shutting down because their autonomic nervous systems have gotten so off base.
We don’t have to be first to know. First to spread information. First to try out the latest gadget.
No need to fret about missing out on a bio hack. Truth be told, I can’t think of a bio hack that actually does anything substantial beyond filling sellers bank accounts and draining the hackers.
Find rhythm. Submit to the yoke of our Lord Jesus Christ. His yoke is easy, His burden is light. But it offers all the peace, meaning, purpose and fulfillment we could ever dream to have.
Comparing, consuming, going “one more” is a losers game.
This limbic distress isn’t just manifesting in the bio hacker flying three times a week to interview the latest guru. I see it weekly in my patients.
If sleep isn’t sweet…If your mind is trying to get to every place but this moment with your child on the swing set…If you run to your phone when life heats up…if I just need a whatever is regularly on the menu…if you have unexplained physical or mental symptoms, it is time to check what is happening in your soul.
